This is an M that is found in weights. I adjusted the slightly for the photo.

Silhouette

This is an angel that lit up but I just turned her to face the other way.

Palette knife painting

This is my palette knife painting of a tiger. I didn't paint the entire body and chose to paint the head mainly. It took quite a while to finish, and I tried really hard on it. I am happy with the final product and hope to hang it on my wall. The bright eyes and nose really bring out the darker colors also.

Foreshortening

This is my foreshortening photo of Emily. Her fist is closer than the rest of her body creating the foreshortened image, It was taken in the art room, and she is working on her project.

Eye

This is a photo of an eye. It is Paige's eye, and she is wearing colored contacts. That is why I though snapping a photo of her eye would be cool.

Man made Landscape

This is what I think of when I hear man made landscape. I believe that texture can be a landscape, so I chose to take a photo of my wall. It is not flat and texture is man made.

Landscape

This is my landscape photo. I wasn't sure when our photos had to be taken so I used a very pretty one that I took this summer. It was taken when I took my hike to the Big Horns in Wyoming at one of the Seven Brother's Lakes.

Veteran's Day Project

Here is my photo of the flag rising of Iwa Jima. Emily was my partner for this project, and I think our silhouette came out very nicely.

Unusual Tea Pot

This is a photo of my unusual tea pot. I was inspired to form a chinchilla because I currently have two of them. I didn't want to do the usual grey or white fur, so I painted it with this fun color. It does work and I tried using it at home.

Food Cooking

This pan of scrambled eggs is for my photo of food cooking. I love to eat eggs, so they made the perfect shot. They are cooked in a pan and I love my eggs chopped up really small and really dry tasting.

Something Green

This is my something green photo of the air compressor located in my garage. It is very large and is pretty good and unique for a picture. The green is not bright, it is a darker shade. I wanted this photo to be different, and it sure is.

Something Golden

This balance scale makes the perfect something golden photo. It is located in my kitchen and I thought it would make such a lovely picture. It has an antique look to it, and my wall paint really works well with the scale color.

Inside of fridge

This is my fridge photo that consists of some home made grape jelly, peach jelly, and also has some whipped cream in the background. I like how the jelly looks clear due to the lighting of my fridge. I chose to take it up close because this is one of the better sights in my fridge.

Hobby

My dad is working on his 67' Firebird that he bought this summer. It is his hobby to work on cars/ motorcycles. He also likes to start projects and never finish them! He also has a 74' Stingray that he works on every few years.

Abstract

This is an abstract photo I took of the knot in a tree from my backyard. I thought it would be a cool picture and it looks like it turned out to look pretty neat. It's a very close up photo because in real life the knot is only the size of a half dollar.

Different point of view

This is my different point of view photo I took of Emily. She was laid flat on the sidewalk and had to put her fingers in the sidewalk crack. I then flipped the photo and made it look as if she was climbing a wall.

Glow photo

This is my glow photo of a star using a mini candle. The camera speed was slowed down enough for me to get multiple stars to look as they do.

Motion photo

This is a motion photo of some bubbles moving slowly above the grass. They shine a bit, which will help make the not so see-through when they are drawn.

Summer or what you want to do in art this year.
1. This year in art, I would like to learn how to improve my art even more. It would really help to learn new ways to create different pieces. Working with other mediums would also be a great help.
